EXCELLENCE FOR ALL SINCE 1961
EXCELLENCE FOR ALL SINCE 1961
One of the most distinctive features of the academic experience at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School is our Flex Program, a weekly enrichment opportunity designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Every Tuesday afternoon, students in 3rd through 8th grade participate in elective-style Flex Clubs, allowing them to explore their interests beyond the traditional classroom.
Each trimester, students choose from a variety of engaging clubs based on their passions and talents. Offerings may include STEM Club, Culinary Club, Book Club, Art Club, Math Club, Faith Club, Spanish Club, Writing Club, and many others. Club selections change throughout the year, providing students with opportunities to discover new interests, develop valuable skills, and build meaningful connections with students in other classes who share similar passions.
The Flex Program encourages creativity, collaboration, leadership, and hands-on learning while giving students the freedom to explore new ideas in a fun, supportive environment—all during the regular school day. It is one of the many ways SJE enriches the educational experience and helps students become confident, well-rounded learners.
