Students at SJE have numerous opportunities to explore and develop their talents in the performing arts throughout the school year.

Drama Club meets twice per month after school and is open to 3rd - 8th graders, providing opportunities to build confidence, creativity, and stage presence through theatrical performance.

Each year, Missoula Children's Theatre visits SJE for an exciting week-long residency, culminating in a fully staged production featuring student performers from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. The 2027 production, The Little Mermaid, is scheduled for Saturday, January 16, 2027.

The SJE Choir Program is open to 2nd - 8th graders and meets weekly. Choir members lead music at weekly school Masses and participate in Sunday Mass on Donut Sundays. Throughout the year, the choir performs at many school events, including the Gala & Auction, Craft Fair, Christmas Pageant, Talent Show, Spring Concert, and the Diocesan Choral Festival.

Students also have the opportunity to share their voices through the annual Poetry Jam, held in celebration of National Poetry Day. Participants may perform either original works or favorite published poems.

One of SJE’s most beloved traditions is the Talent Show, where students showcase their unique gifts through singing, dancing, acting, comedy, gymnastics, musical performances, and more.

All students perform together at the annual Christmas Pageant, one of the most beloved evenings of the year.

All students participate in the Spring Concert in March, celebrating the joy of music, performance, and community.
