Student giving plays a vital role in building a culture of shared responsibility, pride, and long-term investment in our school community. Our graduating 8th graders are an important part of the SJE story and that connection doesn’t end at graduation. Through our Young Alumni Giving Campaign, students are invited to make a meaningful first gift in honor of their class year.

This initiative is about more than the amount. It’s about building a lifelong spirit of generosity, gratitude, and connection. By giving back, our graduates recognize the teachers, friendships, and experiences that helped shape them, while also supporting the next generation of Eagles. Young alumni giving helps instill the value of philanthropy early, showing students that every contribution matters and that they will always have a place in the SJE community. It’s a simple but powerful way to begin their journey as engaged and supportive alumni, committed to helping future Eagles learn, grow, and soar.

8th grade students who make a gift of $20.27 during the 2026-2027 school year will be recognized in a meaningful way for their support. Student donors will receive an exclusive SJE Crest pin that can be worn with their graduation stoles and in the future.
