At St. John the Evangelist Catholic School, we believe that every child is created in the image of God and deserves to be welcomed, valued, and supported. We are committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment where students of all abilities can grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our Resource Program supports students with a variety of learning differences and disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning challenges. We recognize that every learner is unique, and we partner closely with families to understand each child's individual strengths and needs. When appropriate, we work collaboratively with families and outside providers to support the educational goals identified in a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or other learning plans within the resources available at SJE.

Our dedicated Resource Team, which includes a Resource Director, Math Specialist, and additional support staff, collaborates with classroom teachers to provide accommodations, modifications, targeted interventions, and individualized support that help students access the curriculum and experience success. Some students also attend SJE with a dedicated one-on-one instructional aide. These aides are coordinated by the family and funded through private insurance , allowing students to receive additional support while fully participating in our school community.

Because every child has unique strengths and needs, we encourage families of students with disabilities who are interested in St. John the Evangelist to contact our Principal to discuss their child's educational profile.
